Somango XL seeds are the new and improved version of the original Somango seed. The breeder took the very best pheno they could find from the original and crossed it over with a heavy yielding Critical Mass to create this extra large heavyweight version!

Where did the Somango strain come from

The original Somango strain came about by crossing over a couple of special Jack Herer phenotypes with a Super Skunk. This created an incredible fruity strain that had everyone drooling and quickly became known as ‘Somango’.

Is Somango XL Indica or Sativa?

Somango seeds are 75% Indica-Dominant. Because of this, the plant stays short and naturally grows lots of side branches without any training methods. It is rare for this strain to exceed 100 cm in height making it a great choice for smaller indoor setups.

What does Somango XL smell like?

Whilst a few different tropical fruits can be picked up in the scent, a dank mango smell often comes out the strongest. When the buds are flushed out before harvest these sweet aromas can also be picked up when smoking.

The buds of Somango have an average THC Content of 18% when grown indoors with a standard setup.

What are the effects of Somango XL?

This is a strong strain that creates a long-lasting high. The high is full-bodied and can give the user a sense of calm and help them concentrate. Because the flavours of Somango are so morish, the user can easily be hypnotised into having a few extra tokes!

How much does Somango XL yield?

As an XL strain, these feminized Somango seeds give very generous yields of around 550 to 600 grams per square meter.

How long does Somango XL take to flower?

To fully ripen the buds of a Somango plant it normally takes 9 weeks but some phenos can finish in just 8 weeks, especially when the grower uses high-quality nutrients and boosts. Shades of purple can often be seen along with intensely crystallized flowers.
